Carifesta X boycotted by African opposition in Guyana

with one comment

The Leadership of the PNCR, having reviewed the current situation in Guyana, has seen no reason to change its position on CARIFESTA X as outlined in its Press Statement on April 24, 2008 and subsequent statements on May 23, June 20 and July 4, 2008. Consequently, the PNCR will lend no credibility or legitimacy to the present activities of the Jagdeo Administration and will not participate in any State Sponsored or Ceremonial event for CARIFESTA X.

On April 10, 2008, the People’s National Congress Reform (PNCR) stated that the current political, economic and social environment was not conducive to the hosting of CARIFESTA X. In that statement the Party said,

“Carifesta X is scheduled to take place in August. The Jagdeo Administration therefore has more than ample time to address these critical matters so that the appropriate environment can be created for the holding of this event. The First Carifesta was hosted proudly and successfully by Guyana under the PNC Administration led by Linden Forbes Sampson Burnham. The event was created to celebrate, display and promote Caribbean Culture. The Party therefore has a vested interest in ensuring that the event is not misused by the Political Administration or takes place in circumstances in which its cultural essence is tainted by the consequences of the dictatorial policies of the Jagdeo Administration.

Carifesta X must be held in an environment in which the Constitutional right to Freedom of Expression and the right to work are respected by the Government. There must be an immediate end to the suspension of the licence of CNS TV Channel 6; an end to the violation of the human rights of the citizens of Guyana; the release of Oliver Hinckson from Prison where he has been incarcerated on unsustainable charges and his trial being continuously postponed; an immediate short term programme to address the impact of the rising cost of living on the citizens of this country; real progress in addressing the deteriorating security situation; the enactment of Broadcast Legislation to end political control over the media and to establish an Independent National Broadcasting Authority; equitable access by the Parliamentary Opposition Parties to the state own media; and, an end to the Monopoly on Radio.

Any decent Government should find no difficulty in creating the appropriate environment if, indeed, they are anxious to highlight Guyana to the Caribbean and the world.”

The Party also stated that it would remain resolute until the Jagdeo Administration satisfactorily addresses the issues of concern. Regrettably, instead of addressing those concerns, the Jagdeo regime expended millions more than their original secret budgetary allocation of $500M on a massive publicity and PR campaign to market the event.

The reality is that the Jagdeo Administration, without any prior consultation with other Stakeholders in Guyana, including the Opposition Political Parties, unilaterally proceeded with the hosting of CARIFESTA X without addressing those major concerns of the majority of Guyanese. It is also very evident that the Government has no intention of addressing the issues of equitable access to state media, broadcast legislation, the state radio monopoly and the issue of good governance.

In the above circumstances the Leadership of the PNCR will not participate in any state sponsored event for CARIFESTA X.

Meanwhile, we welcome all artistes from the Caribbean and the Diaspora and wish them a pleasant stay in our beautiful country. You can be assured of our traditional Guyanese hospitality even in circumstances where the Jagdeo Regime refuses to respect the human rights and freedoms as enshrined in the Constitution of Guyana.

Guyana Crime update: Robert Corbin assassination teams selected at Blue Iguana

with 4 comments

we sent one of our 009 agents down to Blue Iguana for the singles lady party as we heard there was going to be a committee meeting between the PPP assassination division and the cocaine roger front men. the singles party was a front, the ostensible truth of their theoreticals, parentheticals and practicals is they were meeting to pick the assassins and backup assassins who will take out leader of the opposition Robert Corbin at a date and time yet to be agreed upon.

we have to give it to the PPP for their stick.to.it.iveness and for the two.bit cocaine hustlers at blue iguana who are trying their best to keep the cocaine roger empire afloat like he coming home soon to reclaim his throne shit.house cocaine hustle.

Guyana govt remains silent on plans to murder Robert Corbin African leader of the opposition

with one comment

when Robert Corbin said he was ready to go home to ole jehovah last april, we’re sure being assassinated by two.bit cocaine hustlers on behalf of Bhar.rat Jagdeo and the PPP govt was not something he seriously considered

after getting the news that the ‘owner’ of blue iguana was the man the Police had in custody we decided to call up our resident clown dougla rohee to see what he had to say about friends of his friends assassinating an elected member of parliament and leader of the opposition at that. at first he wont take the call. we could hear him mumbling with his secretary in the background. when he finally did take the blasted telephone, he told our agent that this is not something he will be commenting on. he said he was specifically instructed by freedumb house and big bucktuh bhar.rat to keep his traps shut. and like a good little boy that’s what he’s gonna do Read the rest of this entry »

Guyana govt sanctions murdering leader of the opposition Robert Corbin?

with 3 comments

since the death threats are coming from the cocaine friends of the PPP/govt of Guyana does this mean that the govt of Guyana i.e Bhar.rat Jagdeo and company sanctions killing Robert Corbin? let’s see what they have to say, especially dougla rohee and bhar.rat. the americans ain’t lettin go of cocaine roger so like his PPP friends & co. gettin a lil schupit now

Reports had circulated of the threats at the weekend but when contacted on Monday, Corbin told Stabroek News that he had no comment. However, when faced with the question again yesterday following a brief rally at the John Ford car park, East Street, after the PNCR’s ‘cost of living’ march, Corbin said he received the death threat via a telephone call on Thursday. He said he had made a report to the police and he was giving them time to investigate.
Asked about the details of the threat, Corbin said the male caller said, “If you don’t stop talking about Roger Khan, we gon kill you.”

PNC responsible for CARIFESTA Ministry bombing - Clement ‘dougla’ Rohee

with one comment

Stabroek News: “There is some coincidence there. The point is that if a statement is made that you are going to make the situation (Carifesta) unmanageable for Caricom, then you are sending a message and a signal. Somebody picked up that ball and ran with it and began engaging in extremist actions. I am positive that if such a statement was never made, nobody would have picked up that ball and run with it,” Rohee said.

what we thought was dougla rohee’s bucktuh hanging out his pants exposing the crack in his bamzee like a lil hip hopper turns out to be his slip

Guyana Police insinuate they were not target of road block killing - fail to pursue gunmen
The police have not said whether Singh was the intended target but went on record as saying that no police rank was the target since according to them, the man who exited the vehicle had a clear shot of a uniformed rank who was standing mere inches away from Singh but did not take it.

Parliamentarians know nothing of fraudulent Order of Liberation issued to Cheddi Jagan

with one comment

I do not know anything about the Order of Liberation,” PNCR Leader Corbin said. “… We [the PNCR] know nothing about it. I have never been advised of it. Our support in Parliament on the motion had to do only with recognition of his [Dr Jagan's] service to the Parliament.”

maximum Robert Corbin & the People’s National Congress - hoodwinkers r us

without comments

The PNCR’s clarion call was ‘No verification, no election’ backed by demands from the now paralyzed Working Peoples Alliance (WPA) and the virtually non-existent National Front Alliance (NFA) for people to engage in massive street demonstrations to press their case.
