the rumours are true. we got a call from Stabroek News last night confirming that propaganda press has been nominated in their Guyana Blog of the Year contest. thanks to our readers, the gov’t of Guyana blog monitoring outfit and members of the clergy for making it happen

There are already a number of successful West Indian bloggers, and as their audiences grow they will inevitably encroach upon the territory of traditional news organizations.
