we let you do your own research on this one. the info below is a good starting point. but keep in mind this is enemy propaganda mixed up with some truth…and the enemy will not tell you why an Afro Colombian woman from the banana growing regions would be a slave in revolt. if you been to Uraba you would understand why Nellie picked up the gun. she surrendered  with her daughter and boyfriend. after 24 years of fighting she surrendered. she told them where to send their helicopter to come get her. she was not captured and cannot be detained for more than 8 years
