New Orleans 17th Street Canal leaking as hurricane season begins
just in case you needed more evidence big whitey is a fraud and a terrorist…the description below is for the photo above
In this area, water seeps under the levee of the 17th Street Canal levee, background, Tuesday, May 20, 2008, in New Orleans. Despite extensive repairs, the levee that broke with catastrophic effect during Hurricane Katrina is leaking again, perhaps because of the boggy ground on which New Orleans was built, raising serious questions about the reliability of the city’s flood defenses. Donald Jolissaint, chief of the U.S. Army Corps of Engineers technical support branch in New Orleans, gives a tour of the repaired area of the 17th Street Canal levee Tuesday, May 20, 2008, in New Orleans. Despite extensive repairs, the levee that broke with catastrophic effect during Hurricane Katrina is leaking again, but Jolissant denies the problem is serious. [and why would it be serious for him? he's part of the planning committee](AP Photo/Bill Haber)
