The injured woman was first spotted by cane harvesters, who reportedly covered her with a shirt, as she was naked, prior to her creeping across the roadway to a resident’s home, where she was fitted with a pants moments before she grasped the last breath. A GUYANESE, visiting from overseas for a funeral, was shot and wounded Monday night in a robbery attack outside the house where he is a guest. Alan Jagnarayan, 47, is now a patient at Georgetown Public Hospital (GPH), nursing three gunshot wounds but his condition is reported to be stable.

Cashiers relieved of $6 million by gun toting bandits in front of Law Courts!! - Police said that investigations revealed that the clerks were in the company’s mini bus taking $6M in cash and cheques to a city bank when, as the vehicle slowed in traffic, a man armed with a handgun rode up on a motor cycle and smashed a window of the vehicle and held them at gunpoint.

Winetta Ferrier killing her - Three-month-old Winetta Ferrier was discovered motionless by her mother, Savitri Boodnauth after she got up to feed her at their Butcher Street, Parika, East Bank Essequibo home at about 1 am yesterday. Boodnauth subsequently carried the baby to the Parika Police station and was referred to the West Demerara Regional Hospital (WDRH), where Ferrier was pronounced dead. Police have since detained the woman, who allegedly threw the hot water.
Taxi driver, miner shot by robbers - A TAXI driver narrowly escaped death when he accelerated after two gunmen opened fire on him at Diamond New Housing Scheme, on Sunday night.

Chris Maloney murderer in custody - Maloney of Lot 58 William Street, Kitty was shot in the chest just before 5 am on Saturday, while rushing to help his mother Margaret Maloney, the owner of Maggie’s Catering on New Market Street. She had been attacked by gunmen, who were waiting in the yard to rob her.
Sheneiza Khan throat slit - Guyana Police/Enmroe Police Station ignored her pleas for help for four years! She survived an abusive marriage; struggled after the death of a child; walked away from another abusive relationship and made reports at the police station every day for seven days before she was brutally killed. Prior to those reports, she 
frequented the station for four years complaining about her abusive reputed husband.

Gregory Anthony beats his 72 year old grandmother with wood - The accused, Gregory Anthony, made his first court appearance at the Georgetown Magistrates’ Court before Principal Magistrate Melissa Robertson-Ogle. He is charged with assaulting his grandmother, 72-year-old Iris Vyphius, on April 22 last. He pleaded guilty.
