Farouk Kalamadeen’s head found close to his business

Kaieteur News: Police yesterday located the head of murdered businessman Farouk Kalamadeen—dumped in a canal in North Road, a block away from the victim’s business place.The gruesome find was made at around 07:00 hrs by a passerby, and was then positively identified by Kalamadeen’s relatives.  News of the discovery spread quickly around the city and scores of onlookers converged on the scene. Police eventually retrieved the head and took it to the Georgetown Hospital mortuary. (See more details in our Sunday edition)  [before you get overly excited. it will be about tuesday before Kaieteur actually update they website so pay the $100 and buy the print version]        

we take it the cancelled funeral will now proceed?

I read Ban Ki Moon’s 8 April 2008 “Special Report of the Secretary General on the United Nation’s Mission in Ethiopia and Eritrea (UNMEE)” to the Security Council and wondered why the man was wasting valuable time and energy on a dead and moot issue when there are bigger and more serious issues that warrant immediate attention.
