now that the Venezuelan govt has moved in and took care of the farmers of Buxton in a small tangible way, the govt of Guyana and the new ambassador get vex. new minister of home affairs foreign affairs and rabid mad dog carolyn rodrigues stormed over to the venezuelan embassy with a cease and desist order! imagine that

Addressing the farmers at the handing over ceremony at the Buxton/Foulis NDC office yesterday, Venezuelan Ambassador to Guyana, Dario Morandy said in the spirit of cooperation his government was willing to assist the farmers. “Venezuela’s and Guyana’s hunger is the same… we will always have this passion to come to this community and help the poor,” Morandy said. He urged the farmers to be strong, noting that the challenge they were faced with was being experienced by other citizens of other countries. He told the gathering that the embassy responded to a request made by the NDC through the African Cultural Development Association. Morandy said the embassy’s support was based on the request, but the community should leave the door open for future assistance.

Newly sworn-in Foreign Minister, Carolyn Rodrigues told reporters yesterday that the government had registered its concerns with the Venezuelan ambassador to Guyana, Dario Morandy whom she met yesterday. According to Rodrigues, Venezuela had to be concerned about the sensitivities of the situation in Buxton, noting that there was a protocol when foreign countries provided assistance to locals. Rodrigues said she met with Morandy yesterday at which time the diplomat gave an undertaking that there would be no recurrence.
it’s hard to call the little lady names a couple days after she’s taken up office, but isn’t she acting like a little beast already? and this is her first public act that we know of as Minister of Foreign Affairs. Carolyn, if this is how you roll, we’re gonna have to roll on all over you baby.
T%he PPP Government, in pursuit of its strategy to collectively punish those who were and still might be constituents of the PNC, are determined that no relief should be given to those under national assault and attack. They choose an indigenous face to lead the attack inorder to cover their asses. That is how they always operate. Deceit, lies, vindictiveness, cruelty, racism, these are the hallmarks of their values.

Luncheon said that quote, “there is no explicit convention that imposes an obligation for bilateral partners to notify the government to engage in activities, such as those that the Venezuelans undertook at Buxton. “I do not know if in Guyana we need to formally take a position on these interventions that are made by our bilateral partners. Many of them indeed make offers to groupings, to sectors, many times independent of any engagement with the administration. This one is no different,” end quote. What this clearly proves is that Carolyn Rodrigues was given these mean spirited and vindictive instructions to stop aid going to the affected farmers and others in Buxton.
The PPP leadership and sycophancy contain some of the most despicable racist in this world. And so ensconced is this antipathy within their souls, that to them, it is racist of you to point it out or illuminate it. They believe that they have an inherrent right to be racist. Go figure.
