according to popular legend, Black criminals are terrorising Guyanese led by one Rondell ‘fineman’ Rawlins, supposedly working for a certain political party to cause de.stability and take over the land. these so.called Black criminals are also robbing and looting East Indian businessmen etc of their riches, gold and goods…what we want to know is, if Black bandits robbed Bartica and took the guns and gold in this much ballyhooed racial conflagration, why were three East Indian Guyanese men found with 35 pounds of gold supposedly stolen in Bartica? answer that fucking riddle!

Trio to face interrogation LuncheonThree Guyanese men who were arrested in Suriname last week with approximately 35 pounds of gold may have to answer to local investigators here whether any taxes and royalties were paid to Guyana.
Speaking at the post-Cabinet press conference yesterday at the Office of the President, Cabinet Secretary, Dr Roger Luncheon, stressed that leaving Guyana with undeclared gold is a criminal offence and the three men, Isaac Sarjoo, Richard Sarjoo and Roy Arjune, will have to give an account of what transpired.
The three were arrested on Monday last in a Guyana-registered car, PGG 8143, with the gold. They were later charged and placed before the courts where they were fined. The gold, said to be worth in the vicinity of US$500,000, was reportedly confiscated by the Surinamese authorities.
Confirming that the incident did take place, the Cabinet Secretary stopped short of linking the gold to the Bartica slaughter on February 17 which left 12 dead, including three policemen.
Prime Minister Sam Hinds on Tuesday had said that 510 ounces of gold were stolen during the Bartica attack and authorities were looking into the possibility whether the gold seized by the Suriname authorities had any linkages to the attack.
