Mashramani 2008 is blatant disrespect
Dear Editor,
The decision to go ahead with MASH is a slap in the face, and reeks of blatant disrespect towards the families and relatives of the victims of the Lusignan Massacre and Bartica Bloodbath and every decent Guyanese for that matter.
Come Saturday, the vulgarity and partying will continue as if it’s just another “sporting occasion”.
What signals are we sending exactly? Do we even have values anymore?
