manniram prashad addressing empty parliament after PNC walkout

the PPP decided to speak to themselves in Parliament the other day after the PNC walked out on their Lusignan massacre gabfest.

Guyana360: The anger and wrath of the PPP/C spilled over when Rohee, the Minister of Home Affairs asked the Speaker if he wanted to take him up outside a fight. Of more significance, was a statement made by Sam Hinds to the media that “Black people were killing Indians.”

  1. Rohee continued his presentation following the ruling but then said, “I still maintain the point, notwithstanding your ruling… I would not go against it, I will still comment on it somewhere outside of the Parliament because we believe in parliamentary and extra parliamentary ways of working and while you (speaker) have control in Parliament you certainly don’t have control over us outside of Parliament.”

This comment immediately evoked a response from the speaker of the house, “I think you are intimidating me …Are you attempting to intimidate me?”

  2. Mr. Rohee probably got carried away using aggressive word when he was debating on the Lusignan Massacre he was simply trying not to go against the speaker ruling but simple say he preferred to discussion out of parliament were he could say what he wants with out the control of the speaker. I guess the speaker interrupted his word wrong. For the statement which Mr. Rohee” if he wanted to take him up outside a fight” bring forward the evidence that he said these words.
