PRESS RELEASE
The Joint Services are advising members of the public who may have non-essential business in Georgetown and on the East Coast of Demerara to avoid traveling along the East Coast, particularly within the Annandale/Lusignan corridor.
This is in view of the present situation where roadways are blocked and materials are being set on fire at several locations on the roads.
The Joint Services are making every effort to have the roadways cleared.
