Bogota, Dec 31 (Prensa Latina) Colombia is waiting with patience and trust that the Revolutionary Armed Forces (FARC) release three persons as they announced on December 18’s release.Reports from Villavicencio’s city noted that Venezuela’s foreign minister Nicolas Maduro arrived in La Vanguardia airport early in the morning to meet members of the international organization that would make possible the humanitarian operation.
However, ex minister Ramon Rodriguez Chapin remains in Venezuela, who is President Hugo Chaves’ direct representative of carrying Enmanuel operation forward and receives FARC’s coordinate to proceed to rescue.
Previously, Rodriguez Chapin told the press that the liberation of Clara Rojas, her son Emmanuel and ex congress woman Consuelo Gonzalez could take longer.
He explained that it depends on many factors, starting from the guerrilla’s capacity to move and feel confident in a huge area where military harassment remains, including the weather conditions.
Nevertheless, La Vanguardia is ready for the operation so when the order is received the helicopters will immediately depart to an unknown place, quiet predictable in the departments of Vichada or Guaviare at the south eastern of the country, to collect those released.
The success of the operation does not seem to be in danger but the Colombian government has said that time is not limited if Venezuelan authorities are still making efforts to achieve it.
