Turkey pissed at French Armenian genocide bill and Orhan Pamuk nobel prize
Turkey expressed outrage Thursday at a vote in the French National Assembly in favour of a bill that would make it a crime to deny that Turkey committed genocide against the Armenian people more than 90 years ago.

“This prize was not given because of Pamuk’s books, it was given because of his words, because of his Armenian genocide claims … It was given because he belittled our national values,” he said. “As a Turkish citizen, I am ashamed.”
