the first slave ship to land in america was called Jesus!
Yes. Sir John Hawkins had the dubious distinction of becoming the first slave-ship captain to bring Africans to the Americas. Hawkins was a religious gentleman who insisted that his crew “serve God daily” and “love another”. His ship, ironically called “the good ship Jesus,” left the shores of his native England for Africa in October 1562. He arrived at Sierra Leone, and in a short time he had three hundred blacks in his possession. Hawkins claimed to have acquired them “partly by sword and partly by other means.”
My question is even though they were slaves, did he treat them with respect and not disrespecting them?. We all know slaves were treated badly so if he said that they are all equal, did he stick to his word and treat them equally.

Of course their was malicious treatment. Christianity is what Europeans used as a form of justification in their enslavement of true Hebrew Israelites. Christianity was used as a form and means of peaceful suffering. I mean think about it. The Christian Bible tells us if a man strikes us to turn the other cheek. And to do that for what? So that he may strike the other. Like I said… peaceful suffering. How can you trust and believe the word of your enemy? Especially after the enslavement process went on for over four decades. Our oppresors could have told us anything and we, as Hebrew Israelites, were to stubborn to obey the Laws and Principles of Yah had no choice but to obey. But, Yah has also made a promise to his true and chosen people. I will scatter you throughout the earth, but will never forsake you. All praises to the one and true God Elohim. Shalom

First off, I was taught that if a man puts his hands on me.. try my best to kill him. Point blank. Secondly, I am not about turn not one cheek bone unless it is the fools who hit me cheek… that is kinda stupid. I think since King James was homo-sexual- he was speaking on some homo mess.. turn the other cheek (booty cheek) and I am not even turning over that cheek for no one..my booty is going to stay a virgin…lol! Let me quit being silly… I figure that since I am reading and searching to find the truth and since it will set me free… I will not take anything personally. I will be me and thats it…

Substitute “Black Africans of various religious beliefs or lack thereof, mostly traditional African religions” for “true Hebrew Israelites” in the first sentence above and you’ll be on the right track.
Black African people and our ancient religions/traditions/ways of life have been around a lot longer than Judaism, Christianity or Islam.
My ancestors were likely taken from West/Central Africa and, other than some who might have been Muslims as Islam had been around in West Africa for some time before the transatlantic slave trade, it is highly likely that they were all followers of traditional African religions, not Judaism.
You ain’t with them Church of Universal Practical Knowledge “Hebrews” who rant and rave at people in NY, is you? Cos I know there is more than one group of Black Jews or what have you, a girlfriend of mine used to be involved in one that was a bit more reasonable than that lot, so if you in one of them other groups maybe we could reason pon this, if you a Practical Knowledge “True Israeli” misogynist (woman-hater), then we ain’t got nothing to talk about.
@Zameria: which fuckin planet you living on man/woman/whoever you be? “treat slaves with respect”… you deh pon skunt to even ask that question. I suggest you read a book called “The African Holocaust for Beginners”, it even has lots of pictures and large print for yo simple ass self to absorb. “Did he treat the slaves with respect…”… fuck outta here…

Actually Christianity was practiced in Ethiopia long before King Constantine of Rome claimed he had an epiphany and proceeded to convert the rest of Eurpoe from barbarism to Christianity. Europeans held a conference in Nice and arranged how to co-opt Christianity and Judaism. The only Europeans in the part of the world where Christ was supposed to have been borned were Romans and Greeks, and Jesus was neither Roman or Greek.
Whites recognized how powerful an influence spirituality was with Africans, and exploited this to their own advantage. That is why pimps like Ernest Angley are able to influence blathering idiots into believing that his is the voice of christ, and that he receives instructions directly from God.
Zameria you are one screwed up idiot. Respect and slavery connected in the same sentence is as oxymoronic as one can get. Where the fuck do you people get these ideas from. Man the primitive reasoning one comnes across in these blogs is really amazing. “Treat slaves with respect”! What an idiotic piuece of reasoning.
