Yes. Sir John Hawkins had the dubious distinction of becoming the first slave-ship captain to bring Africans to the Americas. Hawkins was a religious gentleman who insisted that his crew “serve God daily” and “love another”.

His ship, ironically called “the good ship Jesus,” left the shores of his native England for Africa in October 1562. He arrived at Sierra Leone, and in a short time he had three hundred blacks in his possession. Hawkins claimed to have acquired them “partly by sword and partly by other means.”

  1. My question is even though they were slaves, did he treat them with respect and not disrespecting them?. We all know slaves were treated badly so if he said that they are all equal, did he stick to his word and treat them equally.

  3. Of course their was malicious treatment. Christianity is what Europeans used as a form of justification in their enslavement of true Hebrew Israelites. Christianity was used as a form and means of peaceful suffering. I mean think about it. The Christian Bible tells us if a man strikes us to turn the other cheek. And to do that for what? So that he may strike the other. Like I said… peaceful suffering. How can you trust and believe the word of your enemy? Especially after the enslavement process went on for over four decades. Our oppresors could have told us anything and we, as Hebrew Israelites, were to stubborn to obey the Laws and Principles of Yah had no choice but to obey. But, Yah has also made a promise to his true and chosen people. I will scatter you throughout the earth, but will never forsake you. All praises to the one and true God Elohim. Shalom

  4. First off, I was taught that if a man puts his hands on me.. try my best to kill him. Point blank. Secondly, I am not about turn not one cheek bone unless it is the fools who hit me cheek… that is kinda stupid. I think since King James was homo-sexual- he was speaking on some homo mess.. turn the other cheek (booty cheek) and I am not even turning over that cheek for no one..my booty is going to stay a virgin…lol! Let me quit being silly… I figure that since I am reading and searching to find the truth and since it will set me free… I will not take anything personally. I will be me and thats it…

  6. @Rajayah

Substitute “Black Africans of various religious beliefs or lack thereof, mostly traditional African religions” for “true Hebrew Israelites” in the first sentence above and you’ll be on the right track.
Black African people and our ancient religions/traditions/ways of life have been around a lot longer than Judaism, Christianity or Islam.
My ancestors were likely taken from West/Central Africa and, other than some who might have been Muslims as Islam had been around in West Africa for some time before the transatlantic slave trade, it is highly likely that they were all followers of traditional African religions, not Judaism.
You ain’t with them Church of Universal Practical Knowledge “Hebrews” who rant and rave at people in NY, is you? Cos I know there is more than one group of Black Jews or what have you, a girlfriend of mine used to be involved in one that was a bit more reasonable than that lot, so if you in one of them other groups maybe we could reason pon this, if you a Practical Knowledge “True Israeli” misogynist (woman-hater), then we ain’t got nothing to talk about.

@Zameria: which fuckin planet you living on man/woman/whoever you be? “treat slaves with respect”… you deh pon skunt to even ask that question. I suggest you read a book called “The African Holocaust for Beginners”, it even has lots of pictures and large print for yo simple ass self to absorb. “Did he treat the slaves with respect…”… fuck outta here…

  7. Actually Christianity was practiced in Ethiopia long before King Constantine of Rome claimed he had an epiphany and proceeded to convert the rest of Eurpoe from barbarism to Christianity. Europeans held a conference in Nice and arranged how to co-opt Christianity and Judaism. The only Europeans in the part of the world where Christ was supposed to have been borned were Romans and Greeks, and Jesus was neither Roman or Greek.

Whites recognized how powerful an influence spirituality was with Africans, and exploited this to their own advantage. That is why pimps like Ernest Angley are able to influence blathering idiots into believing that his is the voice of christ, and that he receives instructions directly from God.

Zameria you are one screwed up idiot. Respect and slavery connected in the same sentence is as oxymoronic as one can get. Where the fuck do you people get these ideas from. Man the primitive reasoning one comnes across in these blogs is really amazing. “Treat slaves with respect”! What an idiotic piuece of reasoning.

true israel is a bloodline, not a religion…hebrews of west africa were made converted to various forms of religion by the sword or even through their own means. it’s well documented. after rome destroyed jerusalem in 70 ad, israelites fled into africa…think about it, why would the majority go in to the north countries where the roman territories were? that would be certain death. that’s not to say that all slaves are israelites, but the majority of them would be…they fit the curses of dueteronomy closer than any other people on the planet and always have had mostly dark to medium brown skin. this is a huge misconception that people without knowledge make worse through simple ignorance. not calling you ignorant, but it’s a deliberate changing of history that keeps such ignorance in place..

  10. @Ruel, re Christianity in Ethiopia:

True iyah, but although I sight Rastafari personally I don’t hold with the idea that many if any of we are directly descended from Ethiopians (unless you mean Ethiopia in the old sense of the word meaning all of Africa). One and two may have gotten in the mix but the majority of we come from West and Central Africa where there was no appreciable influence of any western religion other than Islam until the arrival of missionaries in the 19th century. So most of our ancestors practiced traditional African religions if any religion at all.
If these traditional belief systems have things in common with Christianity, Judaism, etc. it is because these western religions are largely based on more ancient belief systems before them. Eg: the many parallels between Bible stories and Ancient Khemetian (Egyptian) stories.
As I’m sure you know Ruel that is why IanI Rastafari people don’t like that wordsound “Gee-zass”… is de name of a slaveship, nothing more, and when people waiting for “Gee-zaass” to come back they don’t even realise what they saying. If a single flesh and blood bannah behind all them New Testament stories really existed, his name would have been Yeshua or something similar, no “J” in the Hebrew alphabet, but I’m sure you know that anyway.
Primitive reasoning doesn’t even amaze me any more sad to say… Wuh Natural Black sing… “I am not amazed at what is going on…”
    Bless up iyah

  12. Of course he didn’t treat the slaves with respect. I’m sure he beat, kicked, and probably killed some too. More than likely raped a few women as well. Back in those days blacks were treated like animals. White people hated black people and only used them for the benefit of their selves. They were cruel to blacks, beating them down to nothing, making the blacks do whatever they said, be the way they wanted them to be, stripped the blacks of all their history, languages, beliefs, religion, respect, just took everything from them in order to control them and their minds as well as bodies. They still in control and have made it so every race looks at the black race as being inferior but the funny thing is they all want to be black. LOL! Want to dance, sing, talk, walk, have the skin color, bigger lips, bigger butt as the black people. LOL! For real, the white man fears the black people. All that killing, rapes on the black women, cutting off of body parts, hanging, beatings till the skin came off and then putting salt on the wounds to watch them suffer, tying them to animals and having the animals run in different directions causing the black person body to be pulled apart, chopping their head off is only a few things they did to the black man and the white man never was punished for any of it. Is that what you call a man of God who does things like this to a race of people. They turned blacks against each other leading them to believe if the skin was lighter the white man favored you because of it when that was a lie so then the darker skin black man disliked the lighter skinned black man. Just all craziness. The white man screwed up the mentality of the black race just for control and dominance. Although white people today say they had nothing to do with what went on back then, well check it….your damn forefathers had something to do with it and if you want to make it right then it’s up to your generation to be responsible and correct what your ancestors did to the black race. If you don’t then you are just like your ancestors. Just like whit teachers work to kill the inspiration of the black kids to keep the white kids superior while making the black kids feel inferior. Just like employment how the white man (manager, director, foreman, etc.) will not promote the black man but will promote the white; will not pay the black man a good wage, but will pay the white the top wage. Just unfair in all ways of life; even the so called justice system the same way. Quick to lock a black male down and the white man do the same crime and end up with lesser sentence or serving no time at all. Where is the justice? There is none. Just modern day slavery is what I call it.

  13. Brothers and/or Sisters,

Let’s not insult Zameria like that. We can answer her question without calling her names after all, she is still our sister. She had a question, as bizarre as it was, and I am glad to see that it got answered, but let’s spare the insults. She may be a younger sister who was ignorant to the ills and actual facts of slavery. Let’s embrace and educate. I share the same passion for my people that you all have and I am glad to see that I am not alone. Blessed that Elohim has opened my eyes and leads me every day and yes, his Son is Yeshua.

I just want to tell everyone to be encouraged and to continue at the pace that you are going. Just be mindful that not everyone may have reached the level of consciousness that we have achieved and our job is to teach our people. And let’s not forget to love our people and speak to our people like people. Zameria is our princess, our sister.

Zameria, please visit every website that your family has posted above and read every book referenced. Slavery was no joke- we did not get here on a cruise trip. Please take the posts seriously.

Pwacongo, I sight wuh you saying… but sometimes people say things so stupid that a polite response is simply inappropriate. People gah fuh realise when they crossing the line with idiot statements and get a lil ’short sharp shock.’ Politeness is overrated. Yeah is nice to be polite when you can but not if it’s detracting from being direct and to the point. What is Zameria’s feelings compared to the feelings of IanI ancestors who perished in chains? If s/he really is that ignorant and not ‘taking the piss’ then it’s like Resist said, that level of ignorance is shocking and s/he needs to wake up out of it!!! NOW!!!
To say a statement is idiotic is not the same as saying the person making it is an idiot. I’ve made some idiotic statements in my life but I don’t consider myself an idiot, I just try to learn from my mistakes and come correct next time.
Also, I ent know bout you but I grew up in Guyana de land of many waters and our culture is not really to ’suffer fools gladly’… You ever listen to a group of Guyanese friends debating a topic, the amount of “You deh pon skunts” and “no, you fucking dunce” you would think fight about to bruck out, but they the best of friends really… duh is just we style…

  16. When I speak of Ethiopia eyeman I speak of it in the context of it being the source of Egyptian civilization, the population of early india, and it being the real birth place of Christianity and Judaism. Understand that those who are recognize as Jews today were in fact a people known as Hyskos who had invaded Egypt and ruled it for centuries. They assumed all the cultural belief systems they found in Egypt, and when they were finally kicked out the fabricated the myth of being slaves and building the pyramids. Commonsense suggest that enforced labour could not have been used to construct anything with such mathematical precision.

Frankly I do not care one wit for the feelings of Zameria. We are too tolerant of these people who allow their prejudices to water down the holocaustic proportions of African Slavery. When they make statements like slaves being treated with respect they are in fact deliberately tempting to humanize the atrocity and thus justify its application on Africans. We spend to much time rationalizing these examples of nurtured prejudices as a means of establishing kumbaya communication with people who do not like us. I say fuck them unapologetically.

I’ve heard much about the hyksos ting, can’t say I have researched enough info to say whether I fully agree with you on that or not. There are several groups of people who call themselves ‘Jews’ today, the Ashkenazi white russian/eastern european jews who are actually, to the best of my knowledge, descendants of the Khazar people who converted to Judaism, Sephardic brown arab-looking jews *a few* of whom had been living in Palestine for some time before the Zionist invasion and massacre of 1948 created IsFake the Jewish Fascist state as we know it, and of course the Black African Jews such as the Beta Israel of Ethiopia and the Lemba of South Africa. (This is not even counting the more recently self-proclaimed Black Jews I was talking about earlier in this thread, who I think tend to be more about having an inferiority complex about Black African identity.) Do all these disparate groups descend from the same group of people? Like I said I’m no expert on the subject. Any references you recommend?

Also, here are a few interesting facts about the slave trade:
The slave trade in Africa existed for thousands of years. The first main route passed through the Sahara, tying in to the Arab slave trade. After the European Age of Exploration, African slaves became part of the Atlantic slave trade, from which comes the modern, Western conception of slavery as an institution of African-descended slaves and non-African slave owners. Despite its illegality, slavery continues in some parts of the world, including Africa.
Africans were slaves long before the whites were shipping them west.

  20. I stumbled upon this site accidentally, but I like the discussions that i’m seeing. I just want to say that in my opinion alot of the reason that there is so much confusion as to who did what and to whom and when it took place is because the wording describing the points of origin have been accidentally and deliberately misused. The use of the word Africa is a direct result of misinformation to describe the geographical location in question. Africa is by the original lines of demarcation only 13 miles long.

Of 14 ancestral human groups in Africa, only one survived outside it, and so if you ain’t of recent African vintage you are without a doubt descended from these 200 Black African people. Just so y’all racist redneck crackaz who like to frequent this site are aware:

i don’t mean to be the bad guy but i personally think that alot of these people hail from sub-urbia and simply have too much money and time on their hands. so to find some ‘meaning’ in their life they go out seeking the ‘righteous path’ in defence of the poor and oppressed, the environment, and whatever else they can try to save in order to fill that self-righteous void, or maybe just to rebel against mommy & daddy for spoiling them. what could be worse than being too well off?

most of the people who are suffering cannot afford to take a day off and go ‘protest’. most of us work 2-3 jobs to pay bills - i know because i’ve been there. so who are these people that go out and protest for days on end?

  38. Unka Racist, you are very welcome to your views and free to express them. I must query where I have ‘bragged’ about ‘chronic drug use’ (the fact that I smoke weed once in a while like a large percentage of the planet? Or the fact that I can’t wake up properly without a cup of coffee - much more addictive in my experience)… and ‘propensity towards random violence’??? Dickhead, I’ve actually put up with worse than you in real life without clockin em one cos what’s the point? Just passed by some fat drunken cunt the other day who told me to ‘go back to my fucking country’, it would have felt real good to knock him to the concrete, but there’s CCTV cameras everywhere here in George Orwell’s Britain and he might have cracked his head on the pavement and died and then that’s a murder charge, who needs that? Now, murderous rage, you can bet I feel that quite often, I’d like you to find one Blackman who doeesn’t… they’re fucking lying or they’re brain-dead. I do not care one whit what you think about me or Black people. I represent my fucking self, I am no more a representative of my ‘race’ than you are of yours… although you are a typical arrogant-in-your-ignorance cracka, and you do inspire (theoretically) murderous rage at times when you spread slander on my ancestors who perished in chains fighting until the end so that I could be here in so-called ‘freedom’ aka ‘minimum security’.
That’s enough for the cracka… now to the brudda:

Well, stay apathetic while Guyana and all other low-lying countries sink underwater, we allow the 0.0000001% of ultra-rich to continue to dictate to the rest of us, and more poor people get starved and bombed around the world. By the way, I have always worked since I was a teenager, and I was going to university too, it never stopped me getting involved in activism. If you want to do something then you make time for it. 40. @eyeman
what i think about the comment. it had me thinking.
i wouldn’t doubt that BET is white-owned, i wouldn’t doubt that the ms. african-amerikan pageant was a white idea! and is run by some white, and the ads that pay for it are white-owned, or the network that it’s shown on is white-owned.
i believe all these ideas of separating blacks and putting them into a category of their own is not only discriminatory, but oppressive. it’s an easy way to create stereotypes about black people.

the whole miss ‘whatever’ pageant thing is oppressive to women - lets judge women by how skinny they are, how much makeup they wear, how sweet they look, how they answer some bullshit question about saving the world!-

anyway - that’s what i think about that.

  41. I think you just made alot of sense, Darrel. But I want to take it a step further. What about “hate crimes”? If I trash your car and beat your head in, aren’t you just as out of luck whether I did it out of “hate” or if I’m just a psychopath who murders without malice? The concept of special protected classes is also “not only discriminatory, but oppressive.”

  42. To illustrate:
Let’s just say Eye M@n could get a visa to the U.S. and decided to come here to “pimp some ho’s”. I run into them on the streets of Baltimore. While the ho distracts me by pretending to panhandle, Eye M@n makes a dash for my well stuffed wallet. I proceed to beat the piss out of him, but his ho pulls a razor from beneath her titty and cuts me. Because race was involved, I could be found guilty of a hate-crime, while Eye M@n could claim in his defense that he was too historically oppressed to know right from wrong. Does this seem fair to you?

i wasn’t being apathetic - i was being realistic. and i’m not going to join the nearest ‘pocket of resistance’ just because it portrays itself to be fighting some higher power that’s oppressing or destroying whatever. i believe in fighting for real freedom and not just freedom from your conscience.
today everyone wants to free their conscience, everyone wants to be involved with some ’cause’. save this, save that. most of these people are under no direct threat, they just want to feel needed.
it’s like being vegetarian - to save the animals, to save the environment. personally, i think going vege is good for your health - if you do it right and want to live longer. but if you like meat nothing is wrong with that either - humans have been eating animals from the beginning.
and being an environmentalist - don’t be a hypocrite - if you really want to have the title - go live in the jungle and feed off of herbs and fresh morning dew. as far as i see it human beings, by nature, are a destructive, malignant tumor - a parasite on the earth… and our dear mother will eventually get rid of us in her own defensive way.
so, in the end, all this ‘meaning of life’ crap will drift into eternity as a new form of energy - hopefully be more beneficial and useful to eternity than it ever will be as human-beings.
not to damper people’s spirit on ‘having a purpose’. go ahead - fight, rebel, resist, but chances are that the human race won’t be around long enough to see the changes we want. just a point of view - one of many.

  44. another thing, being black doesn’t mean you’re african - being born in africa does. so why do people still use the term african or afro, like indian, or indo when they’re not from the place? i believe you should be proud of where YOU are from, not your ancestors.

  45. Eye M@n,
I have a follow up question about the “fat drunken cunt” who told you to ‘go back to my fucking country’. Why are you in the UK, when you obviously despise it? Allow me to enlighten the readers of the Illustrious Propaganda Press. In Guyana, homosexuality ears a life sentence of penal servitude. As a result, you were forced to flee to a more tolerant atmosphere to practice your lifestyle. Isn’t this the ultimate in hypocracy? You were living a lie in Guyana. Britain freed you to be who you are, and you despise it. You never would have met a good man like Quentin in Guyana. Be grateful for the tolerant, just, prosperous, land you live in. After all, you can always go back to Guyana, can’t you? A nice jail cell awaits you there.

  46. Hey Darrell,
Your memory is solid, here is the comment you referred to:

We just can’t win with you guys, can we?
If we elected the other guy, we would be racists who were afriad of Obama.
Now that we have elected a black president, you can only paint him as something else.
The truth is that There are African Americans, Mexican Americans, Asian Americans,
    Arab Americans, etc.
And then there are just Americans. You pass me on the street and
sneer in my direction. You call me ‘White boy,’ ‘Cracker,’
    ‘Honkey,’
‘Whitey,’ ‘Caveman’ .. and that’s OK.

But when I call you, Nigger, Kike, Towel head, Sand-nigger,
Camel Jockey, Beaner, Gook, or Chink … You call me a racist.
You say that whites commit a lot of violence against you… so why are the ghettos
the most dangerous places to live?

You have the United Negro College Fund. You have Martin Luther
King Day. You have Black History Month. You have Cesar Chavez Day. You
have Yom Hashoah. You have Ma’uled Al-Nabi. You have the NAACP. You have BET…

If we had WET (White Entertainment Television) we’d be racists.
If we had a White Pride Day, you would call us racists.
If we had White History Month, we’d be racists.

If we had any organization for only whites to ‘advance’ OUR
    lives we’d be racists.

We have a Hispanic Chamber of Commerce, a Black Chamber of
Commerce, and then we just have the plain Chamber of Commerce.

    Wonder who pays for that??

A white woman could not be in the Miss Black American pageant,
but any color can be in the Miss America pageant.

If we had a college fund that only gave white students
    scholarships…You know we’d be racists.

There are over 60 openly proclaimed Black Colleges in the US .

Yet if there were ‘White colleges’ That would be a racist
    college.

In the Million Man March, you believed that you were marching
    for your race and rights.

If we marched for our race and rights, you would call us
    racists.

You are proud to be black, brown, yellow and orange, and you’re
    not afraid to announce it.

But when we announce our white pride, you call us racists.

You rob us, carjack us, and shoot at us. But, when a white
police officer shoots a black gang member or beats up
a black drug-dealer running from the law and posing a threat
to society, you call him a racist.

I am proud…But you call me a racist.

Why is it that only whites can be racists??

  48. konabob,
that is the post. found it weird that no one did respond/comment on it to any significant degree.

    everyone,

i believe that problem with alot of people is that instead of discussing - they jump down your throat with an argument defending their position like it’s religion or attacking your’s like it’s sin.

i understand that point of view. however, i don’t feel anyone should really be proud of their ethnicity. afterall, being any specific race is not an achievement - it’s something you were born with.

getting into the racial slurs issue too - i believe if you shouldn’t throw stones if you live in a glass house. if you want to call names - you shouldn’t have any problem with others calling you names. so if you want to call the white man a ‘cracka’ or ‘whitey’ - don’t feel too bad when he calls you a ‘nigger’ or ‘blackie’. in any case if you’re going to behave in such a manner you’re both on the same level - in which case there will be energy wasted and more animosity gained.

and going back to the ’specialized’ programs, grants, beauty contests, etc. for any specific race reminds me of a stand up i saw with comedian carlos mencia. one where he spoke of his experience with a ‘dee dee dee’ (retarded) kid in a wheelchair who was taking advantage of his handicap to go to the front of the lines at 6 flags for every ride. so carlos mencia basically gets pissed off and says to the ‘dee dee dee’ kid that he must admit that carlos is faster, stronger, and overall better that he is before he can go to the front of the line. of course the kid in the wheelchair wasn’t going to admit that, but he wanted the benefits of being treated that way. but if he wanted to be treated as an equal carlos says ‘to the back of the line bitch!’ like everyone else.

that’s how i feel. i never, from birth, ever liked being treated as a disadvantaged person, even when i knew i was - with age, height, strenght or whatever else. if i was to compete, i would do it as i am, without any advantage over the next person, because i am as capable as anyone, even if i was disadvantaged. the challenge would make me stronger.

special loans are a perfect example this. it makes you take advantage of your ‘handicap’ in many cases. but doesn’t it enforce a dependency on that handicap? which in turn makes you more handicapped?

just some thoughts that popped in tonight.

  49. 1st, at Darrell: Have you ever heard the Gravediggaz song “1-800-suicide”? Sounds like it might contain some useful suggestions for ya considering your general attitude towards the human race and the prospects for the struggle… inspiring stuff! PS is the whole human race an evil cancer, or is the whole human race except you? Most people I know are not “cancers”, dunno bout you…
2nd, at any idiot who thinks Black people using the word “cracka” about white people is IN ANY WAY WHATSOEVER equivalent to white racism against us:
WHAT PART OF ***SLAVERY***(see Ayanna’s article I posted for reference)do you not understand? What part of ***LYNCHING*** (which would’ve happened to one of my ex-girls’ grandad had he not BLOWN THE KLANSMAN’S HEAD OFF and hot-tailed it out of town… that’s the way!)do you not understand? What part of***THE ONGOING RAPE AND EXPLOITATION OF THE CONTINENT OF AFRICA*** (see the articles about Kenya I posted, also see millions dead in the “D.R.C.” for the coltan in mobile phones and x-boxes, also see the Rwanda genocide which was entirely brought about by the divide and conquer strategies of the colonialists… there was NO war between the Hutus and Tutsis before the crackaz showed up, look it up)… do you not understand? I could go on and on but I am really on the internet today to print out some photos of my baby nephew to show my grandmother in her nursing home, not to educate ignoramuses who are capable of educating themeselves if they so desire.
Briefly, though, re Armenian, Jewish, Palestinian, Tamil etc holocausts: I condemn them all, always have and always will, however the African holocaust is ’special’ for two reasons, 1: it happened to MY people, MY ancestors of whom I am a living embodiment, and 2: it was, and is, the longest-sustained, most brutal, most devastating holocaust in history - or at least, shares that dubious ‘honor’ with the near-genocide of American Indians and Indigenous Australians. Also, it’s the holocaust that was responsible for building the entire western world capitalist order that we live in today. Capitalism and slavery went hand in hand, and still do (there are 27 million slaves in the world today, and that’s a conservative estimate).

i believe being the key component cause this sentence is utter rubbish

  51. “I condemn them all, always have and always will, however the African holocaust is ’special’”
Once again, Eye M@n’s people are the only one’s in this world who’ve ever shed a tear. Living safely in England, he decries the poor Rwandan (who’s genocide the UK tried to avert). Weeps for the poor Africans (who survive today based on the White man’s food aid), and bemoans the poor AIDS babies (who G.W.Bush gave billions in medicine). How tender hearted he is, except for the fact that he wants the White man dead. The same White man who offers his opportunity, education, and a safe society to crusade from, without fear of persecution.
Yes, slavery is alive and well in 2009, in AFRICA, by AFRICANS! Take a trip to the Sudan you “daft cunt” and wake the fuck up.

  52. I don’t have time to address your ‘points’ now, so will return another day to do so. Not in any way for your benefit, as you’re plainly a complete asshole whose only interest here is to instigate and provoke, but for the benefit of others who may be reading.
PS Highly recommend the song “1-800-Suicide” by the Gravediggaz, it has many useful tips for ya… I’d go for the “hang yourself with a barbed wire” one if I were you, but there’s lots of methods to choose from… check it out, sure you can find it on youtube. One less overfed white bai to suck up the world’s resources would be a great thing.
PS you still haven’t told us what you do that you’re so succesful at. Are you a banker? is that why you’re emarrassed to say?

  53. Hey, brainless. Have you ever visited Gettysburg? If you do you will find a small stone marked “497 New Jersey”. Do you know what’s under that stone? 497 of MY home boys who fell in one day to free people who look just like you. A simple “than you” will be sufficient. No, I’m not a banker. I serve the Latino community. A group of hard working, proud people who will pass blacks in wealth, education, and home ownership due to that fact that they believe in work, not excuses.

  54. They were conscripted into an army to defend northern industrial interests against what was perceived as ‘unfair competition’ from southern agricultural interests who didn’t have to pay those pesky things called wages. They didn’t die to free any of my people. Nat Turner died to free my people, Harriet Tubman lived to free my people, John Brown and sons were honourable white people who fought on our side of their own free will and out of hatred for slavery, I’ll give them their due respect, no problem. Your homeboys get *pity* for being poor people conscripted into a war, but no thanks. Abraham Lincoln didn’t give a fuck about freeing slaves. If he did, why was he initially willing to compromise and let the south keep certain states as slave states?
