UK does not respect the rights of indigenous peoples in its former colonies
BlackBritain.co.uk :: As the UN Human Rights Council voted last Friday on a Declaration to protect the rights of indigenous people - still clinging to its colonial past, the British government filed an appeal against a High Court ruling in May ordering the return of the exiled Chagossians to their homeland in the Chagos Archipelago.
