ceasefire in Somalia?
Islamic militia fighters who have been battling rival warlords in Somalia’s capital since Wednesday have agreed a ceasefire.  Around 70 people have died and 200 injured during four days of fighting in the northern part of Mogadishu. Somalia has been without an effective central government for 15 years and has been divided by rival warlords. A transitional parliament met recently for the first time on home soil since it was formed more than a year ago.
